Ofallon Jordan, 90, of McMinnville died Tuesday, May 6, at River Park Hospital.
She was born Jan. 16, 1924, in Smithville, was a homemaker, served alongside her husband Dr. J.W. Jordan in their lifelong Christian ministry, and she was a member of Smartt Assembly of God. Mrs. Jordan was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Effie Elizabeth Young Pinegar, husband Dr. John W. Jordan, grandson James William Jordan Jr., and sisters Dollie Turner and Dorothy Bates.
Survivors include her son James (Jane) Jordan of Plant City, Fla.; daughters, Shirley (Chuck) Catalfu of Tampa, Fla., and Connie (Mark) Livengood of McMinnville; sister, Doshie Hines of Smyrna; brother Herman, Jr. (Reba) Pinegar of Fayetteville; nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Eric Stokesberry and Dr. Dean Northcutt will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. The Jordan family will receive friends Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.mcminnvillefuneralhome.com.
