Homestead, Fla., resident Nellie M. Davenport, 81, died April 13 at Palace Gardens in Homestead after an extended illness.A homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Axel and Inez Pent Peterson and was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Chadwick Davenport.She is survived by children and spouses, Tony and Gloria Davenport of Jupiter, Fla., Debbie and David Moses of Charlotte, N.C., Donna and Jorge Pancho of Key Largo, Fla.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Oak Grove Cemetery at Barren Fork with Carl Wayne Davenport officiating.
