Nancy Catharine Thaxton-Jones, 72, was born Sept. 7, 1949 and died Oct. 7.

She was a longtime employee of Dairy Twist who enjoyed attending church services at Cornerstone Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William A. “Bill” Thaxton and Dovie Claudine Lawrence Thaxton, infant son Thomas, brothers Don, Charles “Chuck” and Carson Thaxton, and sister Billie Dean Thaxton Smith, all formerly of McMinnville. She is survived by special cousin Brenda Bell Pritchard of Muncie, Ind., and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, Nov. 6, at 11 a.m. at Liberty Cemetery in McMinnville with William and Arlene Shockley officiating. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery.
