Myrtle Love Greer, 94, of Viola died Thursday, July 21 at Raintree Manor Nursing Center in McMinnville. She was born Oct. 23, 1916, in DeKalb County, was a homemaker, a retired employee of UT Agriculture Extension Service, and a Baptist. Mrs. Greer was preceded in death by parents Willie and Sarah Smith Love; husband John Matthew Greer; and brother, Landon Love.Survivors include daughters Deanie English of Brentwood, Faye (Fred) Greene of McMinnville; brother Frank (Naomi) Love of Manchester; grandchildren John Kenneth (Alysia) English, Morris Kevin (Christina) English, Kimberly Denise (Ricky) Matlock, and Jason Matthew (April) Greene; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Meghan, Lauren, Austin, and Sadie English, Holly Matlock, Caden and Ambria Greene; and two great-great grandchildren.Funeral service is 2 p.m. today at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.
