McMinnville resident and Warren County native Myrl Timothy Smith, 56, was born Sept. 4, 1958 and died Aug. 23 at his residence following a lingering illness.A truck driver with Hillis Trucking Company and member of Pearls of Christ Church, he was the son of the late Myrl Thurman and Martha Nell Haney Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Myrldean Mounts; brother, Jerry Demetrious Smith and two nieces. Mr. Smith is survived by a son, Boone Dillon Smith of East; two sisters and brother-in-law, Martha Jeannie (Verbile) Wanamaker and Anna Mariea Burton, both of McMinnville; significant other, Mary Jane Prater of McMinnville; aunt, Gladys Clendenon of McMinnville; uncle, Wallace Smith of Marietta, Ga.; special cousin, Dwight Taylor and several other cousins, nieces and nephews.
