McMinnville resident and Orange County, California native Misty Dawn Hill, 38, was born June 11, 1983 and passed away Feb. 3 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital following a sudden illness.

A veteran of the United States Navy and an LPN with Avalon Hospice, she was the daughter of the late Grady Howard and Norma Louise Vaughn Hill Jr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Ola and Estill Vaughn, and paternal grandparents, Mary and Grady Hill.

She is survived by daughter Trista Nunley of McMinnville, brothers Michael Hill and Grady Hill, both of McMinnville, special sister Devon Hill of McMinnville, special mother-in-law Angela Gail Wheeler, nieces Infiniti Hill, Alora Beth Hill and Jessica Clark, nephews Aryes Hill, Kalel Harris and Shia Hill and uncles, aunts, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, at High’s Chapel. 

High Funeral Home and High’s Cremations, Inc. are in charge of arrangements.
