Minnie Belle Medley, 73, a McMinnville resident and DeKalb County native, was born June 7, 1943 and died suddenly Feb.19 at her residence in McMinnville.She was the daughter of the late Christopher C. and Eugena Cleo Young.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Royce Medley, son Jimmy Earl Drewer; stepsons Tony Medley, Wayne Medley and Larry Medley; stepdaughter Patricia Campbell Crow; sister Christine Clemons; brothers John Young, Leonard Young, Lindbergh Young.Survivors include sister Faye Cantrell of Smithville, and brother Earl Young of McMinnville; four step-grandchildren; Mark Medley, Melissa Medley; Tim Campbell, Becky Campbell; special friend Randy Prater of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, March 11 at Victory Freewill Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Young’s Cemetery.
