Mildred Davenport Martin, 96, of Chattanooga died Friday, Feb. 14 at her residence.
She was born Aug. 16, 1917 in Warren County and was a homemaker and a Baptist. Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by parents, Alton and Ruby Akers Davenport; husband, Jesse Willard Martin; daughter, Ruby Louise Martin; son, Charles Luther Martin; and brother Morris Davenport.
Survivors include daughter, Muriel Martin; sister, Shirley Dodd and brother Hildon (Helen) Davenport; grandchildren, Charles, Robin, and Marty Pack and great-grandchildren, Chris, Summer, and Taylor Pack.
A graveside service and interment will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville. Dave Dawson will officiate. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
