Michael John Holton, 57, a McMinnville resident and Detroit, Mich., native was born Feb. 8, 1956 and died Nov. 4 at his residence following an extended illness.He was the son of James Lee Humphrey and the late Doris May Holton, a member of the Baptist Church, and owner of Holton Industries.Mr. Holton is survived by father and his wife, James and Pat Humphrey of Gulf Shores, Ala.; two daughters, Robin (Troy) Bain and Alexa Grissom of the Centertown community; son, Christopher Holton of McMinnville; two granddaughters, Bella Bain and Elly Bain; one brother, Billy Humphrey, Gulf Shores, Ala.; four sisters, Laurie Holton Madewell of McMinnville, Stacy Humphrey of Gulf Shores, Deborah Shuff of Perrysburg, Ohio and Michele Moran of Osewego, Ill.; two nephews, Taylor Dain Holton and Dalton Blaine Holton of McMinnville.A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday in High’s Parlor.
