Melba Ruth Glenn, 78, a White County resident and Warren County native, was born July 7, 1940 and passed away June 11 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

She was retired from the Doyle Shirt Factory, a member of Shiloh Church of God, and daughter of the late George Edgar and Mary Margie Paine Breedlove. Mrs. Glenn was married Aug. 11, 1957 to Robert L. Glenn, who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers Edgar, George, Gordon and Frederick Breedlove, and sisters Louise Wright, Billie Jo Witt and Nancy Parker.

She is survived by sister and brother-in-law Doris and Buddy Dunlap of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 14, at High’s Chapel with Steve Breedlove to officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. Friday until the time of service at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
