Melba Freeze Henley, 74, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024, after a short battle of cancer. She was a graduate of Morrison High School. She was an active member of Way of the Cross Baptist Church in Winchester. She was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed gardening and canning.
A beloved wife, mother and grandmother who loved to dance and collect jewelry; she is preceded in death by her parents, Ashley and Jannie Freeze of the Shady Grove Community. She is survived by her husband, William C. Henley, who was the love of her life over the last eight years, and his family; daughter, Melody Bell (Chris); sons, John Douglas Freeman and Jimmy Webb; granddaughter, Kelsey Smith; triplet grandsons, Harrison, Ethan and Dalton Bell; granddaughter, Aubrey Webb; and two great-granddaughters, Blakely and Taytum Smith.
