McMinnville resident and Warren County native Melba Elizabeth Greene Griffith, 78, was born Oct. 2, 1936 and died Nov. 7 at Raintree Manor following an extended illness.A retired insurance agent and a member of Central Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late George Clifford and Rachel Neal Greene. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother and sister-in-law, Alton and Louise Greene; brother, Kenny Greene; sister and brother-in-law, Wilma and Marion Pistole; brothers-in-law, Rayford Davis, Jack Pirtle, Mike Worzek, Jack Griffith and Dewey Gay; sisters-in-law, Daphne Greene and Jo Duncan; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, J.D. and Lerline McGinness. She was married Jan. 19, 1958 to Jimmy E. Griffith of McMinnville.
