Melba Cain Fraley, 99, a McMinnville resident and Warren County native, died Dec. 15 at Raintree Manor following an extended illness.She was a homemaker, member of the Church of Christ, and daughter of the late Hugh and Myrtle Hall Cain.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Walling Fraley in 1994, sister, Bonita Curtiss and brothers-in-law, Waymon Curtiss and Richard DaCosta.Mrs. Fraley is survived by daughter, Barbara Fraley of Panama City Beach, Fla.; two granddaughters, Dawn (Brent) Griffith and Nichole (Jeff) Mosley of McMinnville; eight great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Gloria DaCosta of McMinnville; nieces, Molly Schoenauer of Virginia, Nancy (Sam) Hitchcock of Rock Island; and nephew Hugh Curtiss of McMinnville. One great-niece and three great-nephews also survive. Graveside service and interment will be 2 p.m. Friday at Philadelphia Cemetery in Grundy County with Michael Lorance to officiate.
