Huntsville, Ala., resident (formerly of McMinnville) and Warren County native Maxine Savage, 89, was born Sept. 6, 1922 and died Aug. 16 at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville following an extended illness.A retired beautician with Pat’s Beauty Shop and member of the Central Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Frank Davis and Isabell Jones Warren. She was married June 9, 1945 to John James Savage Jr., who preceded her in death Jan. 18, 2005. In addition her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Georgia Sanders.She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dick and Jean Savage and Jim and Joyce Savage, all of Huntsville, Ala.; four grandchildren, Derrick Savage, David Savage, Kristi MacDonald and Jennifer Savage; five great-grandchildren, Jessica, Sydney and Bradley Savage, William and Kimberly MacDonald; two sisters, Frankie Hendrix of McMinnville and Jean Pearsall of Nashville, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
