Mary Ruth Thrash “Nan-Nan” Jones, 90, a Manchester resident and Shubuta, Miss., native was born Oct. 9, 1927 and died Nov. 22 at Extended Family Care Facility in Manchester following an extended illness.She was a retired forklift operator with Bridgestone, member of Campaign Church of God of Prophecy, and daughter of the late William J. and Ellie Cornelia Thrash.Survivors include son, Tony Jones of Columbia; daughter Tommie Jones of Smyrna; two grandchildren, Jennifer McGee of McMinnville and Bobby Jones of Columbia; and two great-grandchildren, John Thomas McGee of McMinnville and Riley Jones of Columbia. The family would like to express thanks to everyone who has helped with her care over the last few years.Graveside service and interment will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, at Mt. View Cemetery with Steve Breedlove to officiate.
