McMinnville resident and Warren County native Mary Lois Cantrell, 80, was born Sept. 25, 1933 and died May 14 at her residence following a two-year illness.A homemaker, seamstress and member of Bybee Branch Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late John Noel and Geneva Ann Griffith Foster. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by stepmother, Dorothy Agnes Elrod Foster; brother, Paul Brown Foster and half-sister, Phyllis Elaine Foster Goodman.Mrs. Cantrell was married March 22, 1953 to Joe T. Cantrell of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children and their spouses, Teresa and Steve Atnip of Spencer, Regina Kay and Butch Mullican and Joe T. “Chip” Cantrell II and Sheila, both of McMinnville and Pamela Jo and John Green of Sparta; 10 grandchildren and their spouses, Merideth Jones and Chris, Miranda Gillis and Colin, Mary Beth Rollins and Brent, Abby Patterson and Brett, Brett Mullican, Tyler Green, Ethan Green, Thomas Cantrell, Emma Cantrell and Zach Cantrell; three great-grandchildren, Mitchell Jones, Claire Jones and Leah Rollins; aunt, Frances Holcomb of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews.She was a life-time member and very active in Bybee Branch Church of Christ activities.
