Chalmette, La., resident and Warren County native Mary Jo Lance, 76, was born Aug. 25, 1938 and died Nov. 15 at Slidell Memorial Hospital in Slidell, La.A retired employee of Aquatech and a member of Chalmette Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Roy Jackson and Eula Pearl Shirley Wilson Sr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Delores Rains; and brother, Roy Wilson Jr.She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Jackie “Jack” and Teresa Lance of McMinnville, Mark and Tina Lance of Chalmette, and Johnny and Lisa Lance of McMinnville; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Lizzie Wilson of Morrison.Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in High’s Chapel with Garland Robinson and Jonathan Stubblefield officiating. Burial will follow at Trousdale Cemetery.
