Woodbury resident and Cannon County native Martha Jean Parsley Thomason, 72, died Nov. 28 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.A homemaker and a member of Sunny Hills Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Jessie and Lydia Walker Parsley and was preceded in death by her husband, Jonah Thomason on Nov. 14 and sister, Betty Jo Cope.She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, David and Sybil Gunter of McMinnville; grandchildren, Amy Campbell and Shane Gunter of Warren County; great-grandchildren, Tristen and Leila Gunter; brothers, Jackie Parsley of Georgia and Jessie Parsley Jr., of Woodbury; sisters, Ruby Brown of Woodbury, Shirley Neal of Kentucky, and Peggy Young of New Hampshire.Services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Woodbury Funeral Home with John Jones officiating.
