Marion Ray Sullivan, 85

Mr. Marion Ray Sullivan, 85, of McMinnville died Wednesday, May 1, at Alvin C. York VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro. He was born July 13, 1927, in Warren County, was a retired farmer, former owner of both Sullivan Farm Equipment and Warren County Marble and Granite Works, and was preceded in death by his parents Herbert Ralston and Vella Mai Little Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan served his country with the Merchant Marines during World War II and later with the U.S. Air Force.
 Survivors include his wife Alene Kincaid Sullivan, sons Rodger (Gwen) Sullivan, David (Lisa) Sullivan, daughter Marlene (Keith) Smartt, grandchildren David Sullivan, Christopher Basham, and Sarah Smartt, step-grandchildren Aaron Smartt and Ashley Hooper, great grandchild Lochlan Sullivan, sister Kathleen Magness, and brother Herbert (Mary) Sullivan.
 A graveside service was held Sunday, May 5, at Morrison Cemetery. Michael Meadows officiated.
McMinnville Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
