Mrs. Marilyn Ann Gentile, 90, of Rock Island died Sunday, March 19. She was born Jan. 11, 1927, in South Bend, Ind., was a loving and devoted mother and wife, a Catholic, and was preceded in death by parents Clarence Otis and Lottie Ballard Meyers, her husband Sam William Gentile, and her brother Richard Meyers.Survivors include her children Katherine (Perry, Jr.) Hull, Carol (James) Corbitt, Loretta (Allen) Jones, Tina (Richard) Woodlock, and Frances Paul, 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and sister-in-law Betty Sue Meyers.A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, March 25, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Father David Cooney will officiate.
