McMinnville resident and Warren County native Marietta G. Stotts, 82, was born July 14, 1938 and died suddenly Jan. 27 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville.
A retired clerk from Stewart’s Pharmacy and a member of the Baptist church, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Etta Rogers Garrison. She was married to James William Stotts on Aug. 10, 1957, who preceded her in death on Jan. 26, 2017. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Joe B. Garrison.
Mrs. Stotts is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Sandra Stotts and Chad and Dionnea Stotts, all of McMinnville, six grandchildren and spouses, Misty and Jason Smith, April and Michael Morton, Madalyn and Quentin Vazqez, Carly Stotts, Zachary and Rylan Burgess, and Miranda and Samuel Bain, six great-grandchildren, two brothers-inlaw and sisters-in-law, Gary and Carolyn Stotts and David and Mary Jo Stotts, sister-in-law Mrs. Al Stotts, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside service and interment will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Warren County with Gene McClure officiating. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
