Marie Hutchins Bivens, 69, died Thursday, Nov. 3 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center.A resident of Morrison and a Cannon County native, she was a member of Red Hill Church of Christ and a seamstress with Warner, Colonial and Val-Dor shirt factories.She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mattie Lee Hutchins; siblings, Bobby Hutchins, J.C. Hutchins and Sharon Hollandsworth; and brother-in-law, L.J. Bivens.Survivors include her husband, Thomas Bivens of Morrison; sisters, Linda Bivens of Hudson, Ohio and Nell (Gayle) Alexander of Woodbury; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Faye (Billy) Cunningham, Ernestein (Charles) Cantrell, Fred (Gloria) Bivens, Deborah Womack, Sharon (Stanley) Cantrell, Karen (Jim) Hale, all of McMinnville.Funeral service will be held at Woodbury Funeral Home at 2 p.m. today with Eddie Duke and Gayle Alexander officiating.
