Margaret Louise Chisam, 75, of McMinnville died Wednesday, May 25 at River Park Hospital in McMinnville.She was born Nov. 27, 1935 in Warren County and was a retired employee of A.O. Smith, and attended Arlington Church of Christ. Mrs. Chisam was preceded in death by parents Johnnie Eldon and Bessie Walker Holt, first husband Thomas (Tom) Jerrel Higgins Sr., brother Bobby Jewell Holt, and sister Barbara Joyce Holt.Survivors include her husband, John Thomas “J.T.” Chisam; daughters, Vicki Higgins Cantrell and husband John of McMinnville, and Gina Diane Higgins Bain and husband Cleveland of Smithville; son, Thomas Jerrel Higgins Jr. and fiancé Tammy Foutch, of McMinnville; sisters, Sara Jean Cantrell and husband Doug of Smithville and Nancy Faye Womack and husband Terry of McMinnville; and brother, John Thomas Holt and wife Betty of McMinnville; four stepchildren, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.Funeral service is 2 p.m. today at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Richard Bowman and Bobby Moore will officiate.
