Margaret Ann Abston, 77, a McMinnville resident and Coffee County native, was born June 20, 1940 and died Sept. 11 at her residence following an extended illness.She was a homemaker, member of the Methodist Church and daughter of the late Gilbert M. and Ida Mae Tosh Martin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Larry L. Abston; brothers, Richard and James Martin; and sisters, Gladys Pike and Nina Mae Martin. Mrs. Abston is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Jennifer Abston and Valerie and Andy Giles, all of McMinnville; grandson, Jeremiah Giles of McMinnville; sisters-in-law, Jeanette Martin and Deborah Martin, both of McMinnville; two brothers; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.Graveside service and interment will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, at Smyrna Cemetery with Ronnie Powell to officiate.
