Luther Jay George Jr., 73, a Smithville resident and Warren County native, was born Nov. 19, 1944 and passed away Aug. 25 at St. Thomas West Hospital following an extended illness. He was a retired truck driver, member of the Baptist Church, and son of the late Luther Jay George Sr., and Gladys Malone George. Mr. George was married May 4, 1963 to Linda Lee Scott George, who preceded him in death.
