Smithville resident and Cannon County native Lucille Warren Stanley, 70, was born Dec. 12, 1943 and died Feb. 13 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville following an extended illness.A homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ at Oak Grove, she was the daughter of the late Jake Lane and Hester Walker Warren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Steven W. Stanley; brother, Earnest Warren; and brother-in-law, Aubrey Gunter.She was married Oct. 15, 1966 to Steve Stanley of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Lori and Manuel Ramirez of McMinnville, and Jamie and Arturo Ramirez of McMinnville; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Amy Stanley of McMinnville; three brothers, Harold Warren, J.L. Warren and Norman Warren, all of Cannon County; two sisters and brother-in-law, Sepal and Rex Pedigo of McMinnville and Carol Gunter of Cannon County; sister-in-law, Paulette Bain and husband Randy of Smithville; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Dean Stanley of McMinnville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.A graveside service and interment was held Saturday in Oak Grove Cemetery with Dan Gully officiating.High Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.Southern Standard (McMinnville, Tenn.)
