Sparta resident Lucille Parker Smith, 88, died Dec. 10 at her home.The retired owner of Lucille’s Restaurant and a member of Laurel Hill Baptist Church, she was the daughter of Otis and Ola Rigsby Cantrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands Ernest Parker, Scoby Baker and Meryl Smith, son Albert Parker and brother Millard Cantrell.She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Danny and Cathy Parker, Lee and Janie Parker, four grandsons and their spouses Shannon Parker, Albert and Vickie Parker, Billy and Sabrina Parker, all of Sparta, and Marty and Annie Parker of Woodbury, six great-grandchildren and their spouses Kalene and Storm Farley, Devin Duke, Jacob, Jordan and Braxton Parker of Sparta, and Chris Parker of McMinnville, three sisters Leta Snodgrass of Sparta, Aline Jones of McMinnville and Kathleen and Donald Cantrell of Nashville, and brother and sister-in-law Willard and Gail Cantrell of Cookeville.Funeral service is Saturday at 1 p.m. at Love-Cantrell Chapel with Bro. David Teter officiating.
