McMinnville resident and Warren County native Don Hennessee, 75, died March 30 at his home after a four-year illness.
The owner of South Central Iron and Metal and a member of First Baptist Church, he was the son of the late James and Georgie Newman Hennessee; and was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Lee Lock Hennessee and brother, Robert Harmon “Bob” Hennessee.
He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Don (D.J.) and Michelle Hennessee Jr. of McMinnville, David and Tracey McBride of LaGrange, Ind.; daughters and sons-in-law, Terry and Kent Andrews, Dianna and Dan Rhinesmith, all of Howe, Ind., Jo Lee and Dan McKinley of Bronson, Mich.; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; special friend, Nancy Wade of McMinnville; sister-in-law, Sue Hennessee of McMinnville; nephew, Robert Hennessee of McMinnville; nieces, Cherie Martin and Susan Taylor of McMinnville.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church with John May officiating. Burial will follow at Shellsford Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. today, and 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at High’s. Memorials may be made to Warren County Relay for Life, Gideon Memorial Bibles or Autism Association, 955 Woodland Street, Nashville, Tenn., 37206, or the charity of your choice.
