Piney community resident and Van Buren County native Louise Prater, 92, was born Nov. 15, 1925 and died June 23 at her residence following an extended illness. A retired employee of Spencer Shirt Factory, she was the daughter of the late William Bryan and Josephine Simmons Mooneyham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Jessee Moffitt and Charles Prater; stepdaughters Arlene Walling and Vickie Sides, and brother Grover L. Mooneyham.
