Lonnie Benton Capshaw, 77, a McMinnville resident and native was born Feb. 22, 1940 and died Feb. 6 in NHC Healthcare of McMinnville following a sudden illness.

He was a former owner of Pine Hill Plastics and son of the late James Benton and Connie Avo Hillis Capshaw.

Mr. Capshaw is survived by wife, Barbara Capshaw of McMinnville; daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Lee Hennessee and Marcia and Bob Steele, all of McMinnville; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Kerry Mullican of McMinnville; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Kathleen Capshaw of Florida, and John and Jeanette Capshaw of Madison, and sister Connie Rieck of Florida.

Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, at High’s Chapel with Lee Hennessee to officiate. Visitation will be 1 p.m. Friday until the time of service at High’s.
