Lola Mae Davis, 98, a Rock Island resident and Warren County native died Feb 27 at NHC Healthcare in McMinnville following an extended illness.She was the daughter of the late Morgan and Martha Jones Mooneyham, a homemaker and member of the Baptist Church.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Zollie Ray Davis in 1990 and son Wilson Ray “Bunion” Davis.Mrs. Davis is survived by two sons, Anthony Wade Davis of Rock Island and Luther Wayne Davis of McMinnville; daughter, Treva Holland of McMinnville; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.Funeral service was held Saturday, March 1 in High’s Chapel with Steve Breedlove officiating. Interment followed at Friendship Cemetery in Warren County. High Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.Southern Standard (McMinnville, Tenn.) March 2, 2014
