Lois A. Moore, 61, of McMinnville died Sunday, March 31 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville after an extended illness.She was born in Whitwell on May 31, 1951, a daughter of Dora (Nunley) Poe and the late Stanford Poe. She was as a homemaker and attended Irving College Baptist Church.She is survived by her mother, Dora E. Poe of McMinnville; daughter, Melisa A., Moore Webster of McMinnville; son, Stephen R. Moore Jr., of Tullahoma; brother, Stanley (Sparky), and wife Carol Poe of McMinnville; two sisters, Patsy, and husband Jerry Merriman of Montana; Evelyn, and husband Tim Southard, of Winchester; special friend Jimmie Nell Kirby of Sliver Point; several nieces, nephews, and cousins and a host of friends; four grandchildren, Jesse Dakota Moore, Stephen Logan Moore, Hunter Alexander Moore, Hannah Elizabeth Webster.She was preceded in death by her father, Stanford Poe.A memorial service will be held at Irving College Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Saturday with John Kent officiating. A private family interment will be held at King Cemetery at a later date.
