Lincoln B. Scott, 86

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Lincoln B. Scott, 86, was born Feb. 12, 1935 and died March 11 at NHC Healthcare in McMinnville following a short illness.              

A veteran of the Unites States Air Force, retired Accu-Router employee, and a member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Marshall and Annie B. Elliott Scott. He was married to Betty Jo Pepper Scott of McMinnville on Feb. 20, 1954. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother Ronnie Scott, sister Beatrice Snider, grandson Stacey Scott, and two sons, Rickey D. Scott and Terry Lynn Scott.

Mr. Scott is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Freda Scott of McMinnville, nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 14 nieces and nephews.      

Funeral service was held Saturday, March 13, at 1 p.m. at High’s Chapel with Tim Long officiating. Burial followed at Smyrna Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation was held Saturday at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
