Lewell “Frank” Lake, 81, a McMinnville resident and West Virginia native, was born Sept. 4, 1936 and died May 2 after an extended illness. Frank graduated from Sutton High School in West Virginia and then moved to Washington D.C. to work for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, where he met his future wife, Betty Ann Keever. Frank then served in the United States Air Force for 20 years where he specialized in avionics.
