Leonard Troy Rains, 80, a McMinnville resident and Warren County native, died Jan. 7 at the Tennessee State Veterans Home in Murfreesboro following an extended illness. He was born July 23, 1935 to the late Rufus J. and Dovie Young Rains of McMinnville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Grady, R.K., Bernice and Loyd Rains; and four sisters, Pauline Hall, Ethel Lorance, Irene Hall and Barbara Tittsworth.
