Leoma Frances Darnell Hoover, 85, a McMinnville resident and Grundy County native, was born Dec. 21, 1931 and died April 12.She was a retired manager of Kewin’s Clothing Store, member of Central Church of Christ and daughter of the late Frank and Leah Wooten Darnell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Dalton Hoover.Mrs. Hoover is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Elaine Hoover of McMinnville; two granddaughters and spouses, Megan and Hobie Tyler of Alabama, and Naomi and Kenny Horn of Manchester; four great-grandchildren, Cybele and Ivy Horn and Dalton and Shelby Tyler; two nieces and spouses, Judy and Joe Bob Mills of Murfreesboro and Patricia and Leonard Snodgrass of McMinnville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bobby and Judy Hoover of Morrison; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Nancy Mitchell of Morrison, Mary Jane and Larry Rigsby and Brenda Fay and Gary Martin, all of Rock Island; and special cousins, Mark and Betty Meadows and David and Kathy Meadows. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 15 in High’s Chapel with Ben Bailey to officiate.
