Lavada Sue Campbell, 59, of Rock Island died Tuesday, Aug. 1 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. She was born Nov. 27, 1957, in Dunlap, was a retired employee of McMinnville Orthopedic Clinic, and a member of Friendship the Baptist Church. Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by parents Frank and Edith McDaniel Howser and brother Jerry Howser.Survivors include husband Daniel C. Campbell, daughters Missy (Carl) Bennett and Stephanie (Billy) Newby, and son Daniel Clyde (Heather) Campbell Jr., grandchildren Chelsey Slatton, Katie Slatton, Zachary Bennett, Judith Faith Newby, Alec Newby, and Lydia Campbell, great-grandchildren Cadence and Colbi Slatton, sister Betty Howser, and brothers Rodger and Melvin Howser.Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 4, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.
