Rock Island resident and Warren County native Laura Faye Locke Shirley, 82, was born May 4, 1935 and died March 17 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following a brief illness. A retired employee of Oster and member of Rock Island Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late James Virgle and Hattie Wretha Cantrell Locke. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son Kenneth Wayne Shirley and three brothers, Lloyd Locke, Wayne Locke and Bob Locke.
