Kristin Beth “Our Baby Girl” Luna, 24, a McMinnville resident and native, died suddenly Feb. 2.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by children, Matthew West and Caroline Hankins of McMinnville; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Carol Lyle of McMinnville; paternal grandparents, James and Judy Luna of Smithville; paternal grandmother, Janie Ann France of Campaign; sisters, Amber Luna of Knoxville and Dusty Gannon of Manchester; brother, Jamie Crouch of Manchester; uncles, David Lyle of the Irving College community and Teddy Luna of McMinnville; aunts, Jeanette (Kenny) Scott of McMinnville and Lesa (Jason) Kight of Lake Charles, La. Several nieces, nephews, great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins also survive. Heaven is brighter now. We have lost one of our brightest stars. Kristin was always so kind and thoughtful to everyone she met in life. She always put others ahead of her needs. Being a mother was a great joy to her. She loved her babies more than life itself. They were her pride and joy. Our life will never be the same. Kristin will always be a bright and shining star in our family. Her love and compassion will live on forever in each of us.
