Kenneth Richmond “Kenny” Smith, 35, of McMinnville, died Saturday, July 2, at his residence following a long battle with brain cancer.He was born May 28, 1981 in Nashville, and was a mechanic and a member of Covenant Fellowship Church. Kenny previously attended Nashville Auto Diesel College.Survivors include his mother Darlene Smith, father Christopher Mark Smith, children Seth Warren Smith-Steakley, Benjamin Tyler Smith, and Kenneth Ryder Smith, sisters Wendy (Jude) Kell and Crystal (John) Adams, and brother William Christopher Smith. Several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles also survive.Funeral service was held Monday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.
