Kelly Robert Roop, 45, of Buford, Ga., died unexpectedly on Saturday, April 16.
He was born on Saturday, Oct. 10, 1970 in Chicago Heights, Ill., to the late Harold D. Brown, mother, Chiki Odineal. He was employed as an iron worker.
 Surviving are his mother, Chiki Odineal and husband, Evert of McMinnville; son, Mason Roop of Georgia; two daughters, Jessica Roop of McMinnville and Alexis Roop of Georgia; two sisters, Kerry and William Aycock of McMinnville and Karly and Phillip Frizzell of McMinnville, dad Raymond and Debbie Roop of Cedar Lake, Ind.; three stepbrothers, Ray, Anthony, Jeremy; three stepsisters, Jennifer, Elissa, Ashley of Indiana; one niece, Grayson Hillis of McMinnville; three nephews, Patrick Odineal, Matthew Odineal, Chase Hillis, all of McMinnville; and granddaughter Mackenzie Roop of McMinnville.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. with Michael Lorance officiating.
