Coalmont resident and Warren County native Kelley Brown, 34, was born Aug. 8, 1987 and died suddenly April 5 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

A United States Marine Corps veteran, entrepreneur and of the Baptist faith, he was the son of Marilenea Brown of McMinnville and the late Anthony Lynn Brown. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Wayne and Jane Brown and maternal grandmother, Evelyn Harwell.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Brown is survived by daughter, Zoe Lynn Brown, partner Mesha Borne of Cowan, TN; brother Bryan Brown of McMinnville, sister, Faith Brown of Morrison, grandfather, Bobby Harwell of Lebanon, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 8, at High’s Chapel with Coy King officiating. Burial will follow at Grace Chapel Cemetery in Beersheba Springs. Visitation was Thursday and will be held again Friday from 9 a.m. until time of service at High’s. Full military honors will be administered by American Legion Post 173 and VFW Post 5064.
