Junior Emmett Rigsby, 85, a Morrison resident and White County native, died Sept. 11 in St. Thomas River Park Hospital following a short illness.He was a retired farmer and son of the late Willie Emmett and Mida Hutchins Rigsby. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Rosa Ray Vickers Rigsby; brother J.C. Rigsby; and sister Sara Ann Tobitt.Mr. Rigsby is survived by two sons, Tim Rigsby of Morrison and Ronnie Rigsby and Amy Hodges of Morrison; grandson Will Rigsby of Morrison; three stepsons and spouses, Jason and Renee Cripps of McMinnville, Alfred and Shirley Cripps of Murfreesboro and Gale Cripps of Carthage; brother James Rigsby of Centertown; sisters Reba Hasty of Centertown and Ruby Bell of McMinnville; several nieces and nephews; and special family members, Kerrie Rigsby and Arenda Kiser.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at High’s Chapel. Interment will follow at Centertown Cemetery.
