Crawford resident and Warren County native Judy Ginn Farmer, 69, was born April 12, 1947 and died May 2 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga following a sudden illness.
A retired supervisor with Oster Corporation and a member of Hanging Limb Free Will Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Garvin D. and Wavie Francis Rhea Ginn. She was married to Roy Eugene Farmer and James David Vaughn, who both preceded her in death.
She was married Feb. 9, 2016 to Timmie Lee Newberry. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Darryl Farmer of Mountain City and Roger and Nicole Farmer of Rock Island; special granddaughter, Annisa Schmidt of Rock Island, and granddaughters, Heavenleigh Ely of Nashville, and Sidney Vaughn of Huntsville, Ala.; brother Steve Ginn of Athens; and two stepdaughters, Renita Cantley of Crawford and Marcy Vaughn of Cookeville.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at High’s Chapel. Burial will follow at Hebron Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Friday at High’s.
