McMinnville resident and Long Beach, Calif., native Jon Walter Dunn, 59, was born July 8, 1954 and died June 16 at his residence following a sudden illness.Mr. Dunn was a retired gunsmith and United States Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Howard Dunn; mother, Elizabeth Gloria Martorelli Dunn and two sisters, Kathy Moorhead and Shelia Dunn.He is survived by four sisters, Janice Moorhead of Washington, Barbara Dunn of France, Anita Dunn of McMinnville, and Marla Dunn of Florida; nieces and nephews, Sean Smith, Russ Smith and Amanda Yeo, all of Washington, Blake Woodlee and Jessica Seitz, both of Murfreesboro, and Jon Miranda of Florida; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and lifelong friend, Steve Goldstein of Florida.Funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday at High’s Chapel with Harry Dunn officiating. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Evergreen Cemetery, 519 Greenland Drive in Murfreesboro.
