Morrison resident and Warren County native Johnny Carl Bost, 69, was born April 16, 1946 and passed from this life May 14 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was the son of the late John Roy Bost. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brother, Alfred Moore; and sister, Janie Moore.
He is survived by mother, Willie Maggart Fuston of Morrison; sister, Teddie Fuston Greene of Morrison; two nephews, Luke and Seth Greene both of Morrison; four stepchildren; one uncle, two aunts, several cousins and friends; and beloved dog, Ugg.
Mr. Bost was a retired maintenance engineer from Pillsbury Company. He graduated from Central High School, then served his country in the United States Army for two years in the mid-1960s. He was an avid spokesman for the Tennessee Trappers and Fur Association.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday in High’s Chapel with Dave Dawson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery at Barren Fork. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Sunday at High’s.
High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
