Johnnie Lois Beasley Rigsby, 81, of McMinnville died Monday, Dec. 7 at her residence. She was born Nov. 13, 1934 in Warren County and was a retired employee of over 40 years with Oster, a member of the Church of Christ at Ivy Bluff, and loved gardening, traveling and caregiving. Mrs. Rigsby was preceded in death by parents, John H. and Estelle Judkins Redmon; granddaughters, Michelle Beasley and Leann Cripps; sisters, Maureen Redmon and Linda Tobitt, and brothers, Charles “Wrecker” Redmon, Zeb Redmon, Edward Scott Redmon and Paul Redmon.Survivors include her husband, Teddy H. Rigsby; daughters, Barbara Lynn (Elton) Dunlap of Rock Island and Karen (Rick) Martin of Sparta, sons Ernie (Peggy) Beasley of Baxter and Jon Beasley of Springfield; stepchildren, Donna (Jeff) Walker, Robert Dale (Peggy) Rigsby, and David Allen Rigsby, grandchildren Bridgett (Phillip) Prater, Kevin (Laura) Dunlap, Jami (Craig) Reece, Aries (Jessica) Martin, Rance (Sarah) Martin, Maddie Beasley, Ethan Beasley, Misty Spears, Savannah Smiley, Joey Beth Walker, David Walker, and Haley Walker; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, LeeRoy Redmon and Jerry Redmon, both of McMinnville; sisters, Anna Marie (Monte) Hutchins of Woodbury, Bettye (Raymond) Bennett of Lenoir City, Gail Campbell of McMinnville, Katherine (Roy) Cornett of Rock Island, Robbie (Lynn) Shoemake and Delma (Dan) Davenport, both of McMinnville; special niece, Teresa Hillis; special nephew, Michael Joe Hutchins and numerous nieces and nephews and caregivers Melisha Fults, Angelia Patrick, Kathy Elrod, and Charlotte Redmon.Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.
