John Wesley Allen Young, 33, a Christiana resident and DeKalb County native, passed suddenly at Vanderbilt University Medical Center on Aug. 27.He was a foreman at Platinum Roofing and son of Jeff Young of Murfreesboro and Nancy Haley of McMinnville. Mr. Young was married to Kelly Young, who survives. In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by daughter Madison Elizabeth Young; stepmother Tina Young of Murfreesboro; sisters and brother-in-law, Tara and Stacy Sanders of McMinnville and Ashley Young of Los Angeles, Calif.; brother and sister-in-law, Sawyer and Christie Young of Murfreesboro; paternal grandmother, Wilma Young of Murfreesboro; two nephews, Jon Young and Colton Young, both of McMinnville; niece Riley Sanders of McMinnville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at High’s Parlor with Jackie Matheny to officiate.
