John V. Davis, M.D. died May 27 as the result of cancer. He is survived by his wife Jean-Marie Davis and his three daughters, Laura Cole, Samantha Josephine, Natalie Ann Davis and his parents-in-law Don and JoAnn Fuqua, all of Hartselle. Dr. Davis helped found the geropsychiatric unit at Hartselle Hospital in 1995 and was the medical director until 2006.Dr. Davis grew up on a farm in McMinnville.
