John S. Turosky, 75, of McMinnville died Friday, Dec. 20, at his residence after an extended illness.He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 12, 1938, the son of the late Helen (Clayton) and Louis Turosky. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in McMinnville and worked as a factory worker in maintenance at Caterpillar in Cleveland, Ohio. He served in the U.S. Navy as a Seaman 3rd Class in the Vietnam War.He is survived by his wife, Georgia L. (Whitman) Turosky of McMinnville; two grandchildren, Stan and Mike, and two great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Helen (Clayton) Turosky; one son, Kenneth; and one brother, Paul Turosky.The family will receive friends Monday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home.
